Milton Keynes Strategic Flood Risk Assessment by Messrs Halcrow was finally released to the public on the 19th September.

if you copy and paste the address into your browser. In addition to the main report there are a large number of maps, which we have been provided with on CD which include flood risk areas over the whole of MK, but also includes the Aspley Guise Triangle.
Of note is that on Tile B15 (see attached picture), showing flood risk map from all sources in the Aspley Guise Triangle. A substantial area, stretching from the railway line south of Junction 13, to just South of Hayfield farm, plus another smaller area north of Hayfield farm, is designated as Flood Zone 3b - Functional Flood Zone.
This category of Flood Zone can only be used for water based development e.g. marinas and boat building, or for essential infrastructure following exception testing. This latter, is for escape roads, power cables etc. It can not be used for employmnent or residential development.
